GENERAL SCHEDULE

Rehearsal – Friday, August 12th 4 p.m.; followed by “A Celebration of Friendship”, 6pm, Double Tree Hotel, World Arena hosted by the bride and groom for the wedding party and out of town guests

 

Wedding Ceremony – by invitation, Saturday August 13th, 2 p.m.

 

Reception dinner and dance – by invitation, 4 p.m. – Peterson Air Force Base Officers’ Club
Note: Names must be submitted for security clearance by Aug 1st, 2005 to gain access to the Air Force Base. No exceptions...sorry.

DETAILED SCHEDULE FOR WEDDING PARTY AND FAMILIES

Thursday August 11th

  6pm – BBQ at Kathy’s – 1646 Sausalito Drive, call for directions (719) 635-9054 (home) or (719) 351-2190 (cell)

 Friday August 12th

 3 pm church opens  (Summit Christian Fellowship – 5515 Palmer Park Blvd., just West of Powers)

 3:15 pm – 3:45 pm - vocalists may practice if they choose to;– church decorated and bride and groom rooms prepared (Jan Margheim, Donna Schmidt, Steve Shade, John Shade, David Schramm, Julie Clifton) What doesn’t get done before rehearsal will be done afterwards.  The decorating is not elaborate, so it shouldn’t take much time.

 3:45 pm – remaining wedding party and family arrive and check in with Donna Schmidt

 4:00 pm – until complete – wedding rehearsal

 6:00 pm - ? – “Celebration of Friendship”, Windows Room, Doubletree Hotel (World Arena) I-25 at Circle

 Saturday August 13th

 11:30 am – church opens; flowers delivered (Kelly and Tarra help get flowers to wedding party and family members)

 NLT 11:45 am – Groom, Best Man, Groomsmen, Ring Bearers and Ushers check in with Donna

 NLT 12:00 pm – Groom’s family checks in with Donna; Bride, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaids and flower girls check in with Donna

 NLT 12:15 – Bride’s family checks in with Donna

 12:15 pm – 12:45 pm - Groom, Best Man, Groomsmen, Ring Bearers, Ushers and Groom’s family photos

 1:00 pm – Vocalists and sound tech check in with Donna; complete sound checks (around photographer and photos)

 12:45 pm-1:30 pm – Bride, Matron of Honor, Bridesmaids, Flower girls, Guest Book attendants, Bride’s Family photos

 1:30 pm – Church cleared;

 1:35 pm - ~ 2:00 pm - Pre ceremony music plays; ushers seat guests as they arrive

 ~1:40 – Steve and John Shade light the candelabras and communion candle

 ~2:00 pm-2:10 pm – Wedding ceremony starts

 ~2:30 pm-2:40 pm – Wedding ceremony ends; guests proceed to reception

 ~3:00 pm – 3:30 pm final Wedding photos

1) Families  2) Wedding party (everyone)  3) Bride and Groom

 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – PAFB O Club – Hors D’ouerves served; slide show plays

 ~3:45 – wedding party (Bride, Groom, and 10 attendants) enter Ballroom (announced by DJ)

 4:00 pm – Buffet opens

 ~ 5:00 pm – cake is cut by bride and groom; followed by first dance and dance w/parents;  dancing open to everyone

 ~7:00 pm – Bride and Groom depart; reception ends
