The Discussion of Weather Events Daily for Philadelphia and Pennsylvania

Good Afternoon Philadelphia!
I'm glad to announce that these
discussions will continue until at least the end of February
(it's a short month)!
I
have the necessary server space (especially with missed days!).
In short: Things are getting very quiet again, so there isn't much to say, as these light showers pass and a few snow flurries flow down through the air, then temperatures become more mild and skies only get partly cloudy at times through Tuesday.
In the Long: There is not much happening right now, so I'll put a short set of images up tonight and maybe I can extend my dropping server space to where I can continue through April and make a full year of these...
The surface map shows the low(s) that moved out of the central plains now to our northeast and departing. Some wrap around moisture is making light showers and snow showers fall in Pennsylvania, but behind it is a BIG high pressure system that has nothing but quiet weather in it.
The winter color coded radar shows the light rain/snow mix (pink) in the Philadelphia area, but not much is really coming down.
A glance through Monday shows temperatures slowly dropping from the 50's for highs into the 40's for highs. Lows sink from the 30's to near 20F, but not much will fall from the sky until...
Wednesday 1am when snow showers threaten Philadelphia as moisture comes up from the south with the southwestern US storm as it slides by.
We'll hit the details on the more Monday...
Sorry there's not much to handle tonight. I'll see you again Monday!
